The Antithesis editorial committee 2020 are thrilled to invite you to the launch of
Antithesis: Mental
Friday 30th October @ 7PM
This 30th volume of Antithesis explores the diversity of psychological experience and the emotional nuances of the human condition. The edition traverses a range of experience, from facing past demons with the aid of one’s inner child to exploring the relationship between illness, injury and memory to the unprecedented challenges evoked by COVID-19 and the vernacular surrounding mental health.
We are thrilled to be sharing creative pieces, scholarly articles and artwork from over 40 contributors this year including Maja Amanita, Sam Elkin, Jini Maxwell, Bel Schenk, Penni Russon and Alex Creece.
Come enjoy readings from a selection of our featured authors, be part of a discussion about mental health writing and bring all of your literary questions for our editorial team to answer in Q&A!
Antithesis are proud to be utilising this launch as a fundraiser for SANE Australia and The Dax Centre. Donations of $4 and over at registration will put you in the running to win one of three $50 Readings vouchers! Join us as we celebrate the launch of what couldn’t be a more relevant or critical anthology for the year 2020.
